ArmA II

We now have a dedicated server for ArmA 2. If you like to fly aircraft, drive vehicles and defend terrorized townships. This game you have to try. I suggest you try the demo first to see if your hardware can handle it. Then tweak your system to optimize the game. Go through Boot Camp and learn how the game works. Be patient your skills in game will improve but it will take some time. There is rebel forces, government forces, civilians and animals in game that you must navigate to get to your target. ArmA 2 is set in the present day, in a fictional post soviet country called Chernarus. Players will be sent as members of a United States Marine Corps Force Recon squad to this country to prevent further civilian casualties and ensure ongoing stability there. Meet us in Teamspeak and we can walk you through any problems you may encounter.

Hello and welcome to the headquarters of the Druids Of War clan. D.O.W is a unique online gaming clan based on friendship, respect and diversity. Over the past few years the members that now form D.O.W have come together from across the globe to play as teammates in such games as Rogue spear, Ghost Recon, Raven Shield, Battlefield 2142 along with many other different games. We take great pride in how we play, always focusing on the gaming experience in the best manner possible. DOW and Combat Arms

Druids Of War has now entered the world of Combat Arms! Combat Arms is a web based action packed FPS game that has several modes of play from Team adverserial to lastman standing and a newly added Mission/Tango hunt mode. To join up all you have to do is click Read More... and follow the Related link to Combat Arms site and download the client. Once you enter the game click on the clan tab at the top of the game page and then do a clan search for Druids Of War, click on the apply button and I or Max will approve your entry into the clan and the next time you log into Combat Arms Druids Of War will appear next to your name.
The Teamspeak server is up so if you have any trouble just log on and whoever is on will help you set things up.

Teamspeak server is moving

The Teamspeak server will be moving to a new hosting service. And that means the IP will be changing to 208.100.9.174:9154 at the end of this month. Please login some evening around 8:00PM PST so I can register your account. The hosting service does not allow me to upload the user file. :( This will be a considerable savings to me since it now will cost $2.60 a month. I will not be hosting any games here from my house on a 24 hour basis any more. I will still be maintaining the web site but that will be all. Thank you all for your support and many years of gaming.

Update!

If your looking for your favorite flash game on the site and can't find them, I upgraded the software and placed them all in there own catagory. The high scores are reset on the last day of each month and if you have one of the top five highest it will show up in the all time high score. We have established a grouping of GR:AW maps in a list of 32 per group for the server. I am rotating the lists every week or so. This should allow your game to load faster. If you want the maps lists so you can set up folders with the maps in them let me know I'll email them to you.

Servers will be down!

Puget Sound Energy service provider crew (POTELCO) will be replacing equipment to improve service in my area. This replacement cannot be completed without an outage. So our servers will be down on 1/27/2009 (for approximately 4 hours) sometime between the hours of 8:00AM and 3:00PM PST. I will have the servers back online as soon as the work is complete.

Update!

First off I have to say I have been away from the web site for some time as you may have noticed. I intend on making an effort to keep you all current as offten as I can. I updated the Communications Block with the TSviewer that Farley asked for a long time ago :). With it you can launch Teamspeak and log in to our server. It seems to be working but let me know if you have any problems with it. I have taken a new position at my work (a desk job) after my heart attack my boss put me there to recover. And I guess I am doing so well behind that desk he is finding all kinds of things for me to do. :) Anyway Our GRAW server is still very active thanks to DOW_Deja, DOW_winchester and DOW_Herrun.UK. We still have the Rainbow Six Ravenshield server running and I see DOW_V8Power loging in to that server on a regular basis. So all in all we are still alive and kicking so come join us in the games. Or just log into the web site and give us a shout.

Hosted Game Servers

The donations are down to nothing for the last two months. I have decided to shut down the pay hosted GRAW and RVS server until there is more interest in the games we host. The cost for the pay hosted GRAW server is $80.00 a month. And the pay hosted RVS server is $33.00 a month. Many thanks to Dow300winchester, druidrat and DOW_Dejavous for there continued support. I will be hosting GRAW - Alpha server from my location until further notice.
